White River State Park will once again host twice-a-month Farmers Market

Indy’s Urban Farmers Market will return to White River State Park for a second season beginning this Sunday, May 1. Visitors will have an opportunity to support over 30 local vendors in Celebration Plaza from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every first and third Sunday. Other dates are May 15, June 5, June 19 and July 3 and the finale on July 17.

Park guests can purchase farm-fresh produce, prepared food and drinks, flowers, plants, and handcrafted artisan goods from vendors such as BB&B Bread Truck, Bloomers Greenhouse, Garfield Honey Co., Vietnamese Eggroll Bar, Dollies’ Farm, and more. Food trucks will serve a variety of brunch options.

“We are excited to welcome The Market back to White River State Park for a second season,” said Jake Oakman, White River State Park executive director. “The Market is an opportunity to support local vendors and farmers while visiting the park.”

Parking will be available in White River State Park’s underground parking garage on Washington Street just west of West Street. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the White State Park booth for $5 parking vouchers.

The Market Indy’s Urban Farmers Market, a free family-friendly event. Pets are welcomed. Dogs are to remain leashed while visiting the park.
