The campus of the Contemporary Art Museum of Indianapolis – formerly known as the Tube Factory – will host eight free, family-friendly outdoor concerts April through November.
The Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series are described as creative gatherings featuring a variety of music styles and dance performances, food trucks, picnicking, games, creative activities, open art galleries and pop-up markets. Concerts happen outdoors in CAMi’s Terri Sisson Park greenspace and amphitheater, and will move inside one of the campus’s buildings in case of bad weather.
The once-a-month concerts will be staged on the first or second Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m. Dates are April 12, May 3, June 7, July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13, Oct. 11 and Nov. 8.
Levitt VIBE Indianapolis is presented by the Levitt Family Foundation in partnership with Big Car Collaborative and Arte Mexicano en Indiana, with support from Jungclaus-Campbell, Efroymson Family Fund, Eskenazi Health, and Lumina Foundation.
This year’s eight-concert series showcases a diverse roster of local, regional, national, and international talent across genres including hip-hop, jazz, folk, Latin, electronic, rock, classical, world, bluegrass, dance, and more. Concerts after April feature curated pop-up markets alongside rotating local food trucks.

APRIL 12 / 81355 (BLESS) (hip-hop), Kenyettá Dance Company (African American dance) and Iván Maceda (classical guitarist). Food truck: That Vegan Joint food truck (vegan comfort + Mexican food).
MAY 3 (during the grand opening weekend for the CAMi main building) / JJJJJerome Ellis (experimental jazz), Grupo Folclórico Macehuani (traditional Mexican dance) and A.K.A. (classical). Food truck: Pi Indy food truck (pizza). Market: Mini Indy Gay Market (LGBTQ+ artisan vendors).
JUNE 7 / Brandon Meeks (jazz), Ida Y Vuelta (Mexican folk) and Gümmi (electronic pop). Food truck: 3 Marias (Mexican food). Market: Lux & Ivy’s Daydream Market (mix of vendors selling vintage, art, and hand-made wares).
JULY 12 / Glyders (alt/indie rock), Bollywood Beats (Indian dance) and Sergio Ospina Romero (classical). Food truck: Sakura Express (Japanese food). Market: Gluestick Mini Zinefest (zine vendors).
AUG. 9 / Rob Dixon & Triology (jazz), Sound Ecologies + Indiana Movement Arts and Collective (classical + dance), and Raíces (traditional Puerto Rican). Food truck: Pastelitos las Gochitas (Venezuelan food). Market: CAMi Art Market (artist resident + studios artist vendors).
SEPT. 13 / Natural Information Society (world music), A Bright Abyss (folk + country) and Harmony in Hamilton (classical). Food truck: Books Bourbon & Bacon (comfort food). Market: Herron Student Art Market (artisan vendors who are students of the IU Herron School of Art + Design).
OCT. 11 / Sofia Rei (Latin jazz, folk, + electronic), Gamelan Mojomanis (traditional Balinese music + dance), Boozehound Bluegrass (bluegrass). Food truck: Garnacha Spot (Mexican + American street food). Market: Latino Artisan Market (Latino artisan vendors).
Nov. 8 / Good Flying Birds (alt/indie rock), Fern Murphy (alt/indie rock) and J. P. Cuevas (classical). Food truck: Chef Dan’s (Cajun + Southern comfort food). Market: CAMi Art Market (artist resident + studios artist vendors).
Each concert features at least one Latine act curated by Eduardo Luna, founder of Arte Mexicano en Indiana.

The May 3 concert date aligns with the grand opening weekend of CAMi’s 40,000-square-foot museum expansion, a significant milestone in Big Car and the campus’s history. Guests will be able to explore the newly renovated main building and its exhibits during the concert.
