Jill Kinsinger and Lorri Potter plan to close their Mass Ave store, Arts A Poppin, in the next couple of months, citing the health problems of their elderly parents. “We have decided that it is time to redirect our focus so that we can support them,” the sisters said in an online posting. “Time has become more precious.”
Arts a Poppin features functional art, gifts and accessories by local, regional and national artists.
It has been located since 2009 at 425 Mass Ave, after operating its first two years in the 600 block of Mass Ave. No definite closing date has yet been established.
