Whole Foods opened its long-awaited store at 320 E. Market St. on Wednesday, March 21, in the newly completed 360 Market Square.

The 40,000 square foot grocery includes the Market Square Taproom, with 20 taps of beers from Indiana brewmasters at Three Floyds, Brewing Co. Upland Brewing Co., Sun King Brewery, Taxman Brewing Co. and 18th Street Brewery.

The Taproom will also offer a menu ranging from breakfast sandwiches and nachos to blackened salmon and cauliflower tots.

Another amenity is the Allegro Coffee Bar featuring, lattes, chai, cappuccinos, nitrogen-enriched cold brews and espresso made to order, as well as special hibiscus “nitro” tea and fresh fruit smoothies.

Whole Foods also houses Amazon lockers, for customers to ship and pick up packages.

The new 28-story Downtown high-rise housing Whole Foods will also be home to a 2,500-square-foot Starbucks, and a 525-space parking garage
