The North Split interstate construction project will result in the temporary closings of both College Avenue and Michigan Street – as early as Monday, June 21.
* College Avenue will be closed between 11th and 13th streets for overhead bridge demolition. Northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured to the recently reopened Central Avenue underpass. That detour is expected to continue to July 16.
Michigan Street will be closed between Davidson and Pine streets for overhead bridge demolition through July 1. The closure will not occur until Vermont Street, which will serve as the detour, reopens.
*Also, the newly established Monon Loop will experience a series of closures along 10th Street to accommodate the relocation and replacement of utilities by AES Indiana related to the North Split project.
